Objective:

Frazer Solar is developing a large-scale solar-storage project for IPP investor, owner and operator Frazium Energy.  Phase 1 of the development involves solar PV coupled with battery storage to provide 200 MWH of dispatchable baseload electricity per day.  Electricity will be supplied to countries in the SADC region.  The Project will be located in the vicinity of the Edwaleni II sub-station in Manzini and which enables connection to the 400 kV Motraco transmission line.  The projected cost of the Phase 1 development is $100 million.  Over time, the plant will be expanded to provide 800 MWH per day.  Phase 1 is expected to be commissioned in 2024.
